Mr. Md. Mumlook Hossain, FCA, FCMA

Mr. Md. Mumlook Hossain, a Fellow of both ICAB and ICMAB, is a highly seasoned professional accountant with over 32 years of distinguished experience in audit, assurance, taxation, VAT, and strategic financial management, driven by a deep commitment to excellence, integrity, and nation-building through financial transparency.

Mr. Hossain began his professional journey in 1992 with Howladar Yunus & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of Grant Thornton), and later dedicated 16 years to UBICO—a joint venture between the Governments of Bangladesh and the UAE—where he held pivotal leadership roles including CFO, COO, and Acting CEO, earning trust through vision, integrity, and impactful service.

In 2013, Mr. Hossain transitioned into public practice, where he has earned wide recognition as a trusted expert in audit, VAT, tax consultancy, and advisory services—guided by a purpose-driven commitment to empowering professionals and clients with transparency, compliance, and strategic insight.

As the Founder and CEO of HMC, Mr. Hossain leads the firm with transformational leadership, seamless integrity, and profound regulatory and industry insight—fostering a culture of learning, excellence, trust, and purposeful impact.

Naba Krishna Muni FCMA, CMA (UK)

Naba Krishna Muni is a highly accomplished expert in organizational and human development, with over four decades of experience in training, teaching, coaching, mentoring, and managing projects across cooperative, corporate, and NGO sectors. His expertise spans capacity building, financial management, and strategic consulting, making him a trusted advisor for both national and international organizations.

Academically, he was educated and trained in Bangladesh, Canada, the UK, and Thailand. He holds prestigious qualifications such as Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA), CMA (UK), and certifications from ICMAB and CIMA (UK), along with an LLB degree and specialized training credentials including Training of Trainers (TOT) in Teaching Effectiveness from Humber College, Canada.

Professionally, Mr. Muni has worked extensively with development partners and global institutions including USAID, UNDP, UNICEF, WHO, DFID, CIDA, SIDA, AUSAID, and many others. He is an ADB/WB-certified master trainer in microfinance and has delivered consulting and training services in the USA, Thailand, India, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

Currently, he serves as Director – Capacity Building & Consultancy Services at Hossain Mumlook & Co., where he leads strategic initiatives to strengthen professional competencies and organizational performance through training and consultancy programs.

Nandan Chandra Dey FCMA

Nandan Chandra Dey FCMA, is a seasoned finance and corporate leader with over 26 years of extensive experience in financial management, audit, compliance, procurement, taxation, and corporate governance across government corporations and large private sector groups. His professional journey spans leadership roles in the Power and Energy sector, Garments & Textile industries, Electrical and Electronics companies, Real Estate, Cement industry, and Export-Oriented Shipbuilding industry. He has consistently led financial transformation initiatives, strengthened internal control frameworks, and ensured regulatory compliance in complex organizational environments.

He is a Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). Academically, he holds an MBA in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Dhaka and a Master of Commerce in Management from National University. He has also completed various professional trainings on cost audit, transparency and accountability, capital market strategy, enterprise development, and procurement procedures for goods.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dey has held senior positions at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Ashuganj Power Station Company Limited, Dong Bang Group, Paradise Group, Opex and Sinha Textile Group, Aman Group, Ananda Group, Building Technology & Ideas Ltd., and the Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources (including GTCL, BPDB, and PGCB).

Currently, he serves as Director – Finance & Compliance at Hossain Mumlook & Co., where he supervises finance, accounting, audit, revenue assurance, and compliance functions, contributing to strategic financial leadership and institutional excellence.

Juthika Roy ACMA

Juthika Roy is a finance and accounting professional with over a decade of experience in audit, assurance, taxation, internal control, and business development. She has expertise in statutory and internal audits, VAT and tax compliance, financial reporting, and project management, alongside proven leadership in strengthening accounting systems, establishing internal controls, and transitioning businesses toward digital solutions.

Academically, she holds both an MBA and BBA in Finance from Dhaka City College, securing top national positions in Bangladesh, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). She also pursued professional-level studies with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), complemented by continuous professional development in leadership, SAP-FICO, and financial management.

Professionally, Juthika has contributed to organizations such as Better Stories Limited, Prem’s Collections Ltd., and Population Services and Training Center (PSTC), where she successfully resolved long-pending compliance issues, strengthened financial systems, and managed donor-funded projects within strict timelines and budgets.

She is currently the Lead of Business Development & Strategic Partner at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants, where she drives strategic growth, client engagement, and internal capacity building.

Md. Asiful Haque

Mr. Md. Asiful Haque brings over a decade of professional expertise in audit, assurance, and advisory services. His experience spans across statutory audits, group reporting, interim reviews, factual findings, and stock counts, with proven knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, JDE, Oracle, and Finacle. He has successfully worked with large multinational clients in both the manufacturing and service sectors of Bangladesh, ensuring compliance with IAS and IFRS standards.

Academically, Mr. Haque holds both an MBA and BBA in Management. He is a qualified Certified Accounting Professional (CAP) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). His academic background, combined with professional certifications, provides him with a strong foundation in financial and management principles from Dhaka University, which he applies effectively in practice.

Over the years, he has received extensive training in audit methodologies, CAAT (IDEA), eAudIT, and regulatory programs conducted by ICAB, SMAC, and HMC. This technical expertise, along with his analytical skills, has enabled him to deliver high-quality audit engagements while identifying opportunities for process improvements and adding value to clients’ businesses.

Currently, Mr. Haque serves as Manager, Operations – Audit and Advisory Services at HMC. In this role, he leads audit teams, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports organizational growth by driving operational excellence and delivering actionable business insights.

Mamun Miah

Mr. Mamun Miah has over eight years of professional experience in audit and assurance services across a wide range of industries in Bangladesh. His portfolio includes power, telecommunications, manufacturing, FMCG, service industries, NGOs, and non-banking financial institutions. He has successfully handled statutory audits, special audits, internal audits, fund audits, factual findings, and stock count verification, with practical experience in ERP systems such as Tally.

He holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) and a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), both with a major in accounting. In addition, he is partly qualified as a Chartered Accountant under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and has achieved Course Complete (CC) status, further strengthening his professional foundation.

During his career, Mr. Miah has led audit teams in planning and executing full-scope financial audits, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering timely reports to clients, managers, and partners. He has also conducted internal control reviews and compliance audits for multiple entities. His training includes audit methodology, materiality, sampling techniques, and programs organized by ICAB on audit documentation and ISQM implementation.

Since 2016, Mr. Miah has progressed through various roles, from Audit Assistant to his current position as Deputy Manager, Audit and Assurance. In this role, he manages client assignments, supervises audit teams, and contributes to strengthening audit quality and client relationships.

Shohel Rana

Sohel Rana is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in administrative management, accounts, procurement, and regulatory compliance. He is adept at streamlining office operations, maintaining accurate records, managing assets, and ensuring adherence to statutory and organizational policies. His strong interpersonal and communication skills enable him to coordinate effectively across departments, facilitate procurement activities, and provide support in compliance matters, making him a valuable asset in finance and administration management.

He completed his B.Com in 2000, CMA Level I in 2001, and CA CC in 2023, and has received professional training in Income Tax, VAT, audit, and English communication. This combination of academic credentials and practical training equips him with both technical knowledge and professional competence to handle complex administrative and accounting responsibilities.

With over 12 years of experience, Sohel has held key roles in various organizations, including Summer Breeze Korea (JV) Ltd., Mumlook Mustaque & Co., J U Ahmed & Co., and currently Hossain Mumlook & Co. He has successfully managed accounts, inventory, documentation, procurement, compliance renewals, and administrative coordination, demonstrating a consistent record of operational excellence.

Currently, as Manager, Accounts & Admin at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Sohel oversees document tracking, office assets, procurement, and compliance processes, ensuring smooth administrative operations and contributing to organizational efficiency and governance.

Mahbub Alam ACMA

Mr. Mahbub Alam is a finance and accounting professional with nearly six years of experience across diverse industries. Since August 2023, he has been serving as Audit Supervisor at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he is responsible for audit planning, fieldwork supervision, and reporting in line with applicable standards and client-specific requirements.

Before joining HMC, Mr. Alam served as Manager – Finance and Admin at Hellotask Platform Ltd., where he managed financial operations, developed strategic business plans, and ensured regulatory compliance. Earlier, he worked as Manager – Accounts at IIDFC Capital Ltd., specializing in corporate advisory services for IPOs and QIOs as well as financial due diligence for capital raising. 

From 2021 to 2023, he held the position of Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance at Thermax Yarn Dyed Fabrics Ltd., where he managed profit and loss statements, cash flow, and inter-company reconciliations.

Mr. Alam is an Associate Cost & Management Accountant (ACMA) and a certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP), recognized by the National Board of Revenue. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Management from United International University.

His professional development includes specialized training in VAT laws, financial analysis, and IPO procedures, equipping him with strong technical expertise in financial governance, taxation, and compliance.

Mst. Fency Ara ACMA

Mst. Fency Ara ACMA, is a finance and cost management professional with over five years of experience in accounting, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Since 12 October 2024, she has been serving in the Audit and Tax Department at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants, where she is involved in audit assignments, tax and VAT compliance, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting in line with IAS, IFRS, BCAS, and relevant laws.

Prior to joining HMC, Ms. Fency worked as Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance (Cost & Budget) at Partex Star Group (Danish Condensed Milk Ltd.) from January 2019 to October 2024. In this role, she was responsible for new product costing, standard and actual cost analysis, budget preparation, variance analysis, feasibility studies, landed cost calculation, and plant-wise profitability reporting. She also prepared financial statements, conducted ratio and CVP analysis, implemented budgetary control systems, and supported tax and VAT compliance processes using Oracle ERP.

Ms. Fency is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). She holds MBS and BBS degrees in Management from National University. She is a recipient of the “Ruhul Quddus” Scholarship from ICMAB and actively serves as a Member of the Women Affairs Committee (National Council) of ICMAB.


Md. Aminur Rahaman ITP

Md. Aminur Rahaman is a skilled VAT, Tax, and Customs professional with over six years of practical experience in regulatory compliance, audit handling, and advisory services. He is currently serving as Assistant Manager – VAT & Customs at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he plays a key role in managing VAT and tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

In his current position, Aminur is responsible for VAT and tax compliance, preparation and submission of Mushak returns (including Mushak 9.1 and Mushak 4.3), VAT registrations, refunds, exemptions, and withholding tax returns. He also represents clients before VAT and Tax authorities, including the Commissioner, Commissioner (Appeal), VAT Intelligence, Deputy Commissioner of Taxes, and the Customs, Excise & VAT Appellate Tribunal. His work includes responding to audit objections, supporting assessments, and ensuring compliance within the prevailing legal framework.

Prior to joining HMC, Aminur worked as Senior Executive – VAT & Tax at Tradesworth Group and earlier as Executive (Accounts, VAT & Tax) at Taxsense Limited, where he gained strong hands-on experience in corporate VAT, tax operations, and regulatory correspondence.

He is a licensed Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) under NBR and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in VAT, Income Tax & Customs Management (VICM). With strong technical expertise and a compliance-driven approach, Aminur continues to add value through effective regulatory support and client-focused solutions.

Moniruzzaman 

Moniruzzaman is a tax and accounting professional with hands-on experience in taxation, VAT, audit support, and financial reporting. He is currently serving as Senior Supervisor (Tax & VAT) at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he is involved in tax computation, return filing, VAT compliance, and supporting audit assignments.

He completed his Chartered Accountancy (CA–CC) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and has worked with Khan Ayub, Chartered Accountants, where he progressed through roles in tax and assurance. His experience includes preparation of financial statements in compliance with IAS, IFRS, and ISA, income tax assessment, TDS/VDS challans, and client coordination.

Moniruzzaman also holds an MBA and BBA in Business Administration and is a certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP). Known for his strong administrative skills, attention to compliance, and effective communication, he brings reliability and discipline to professional engagements.

Firoz Ahmad ITP

Firoz Ahmad is a motivated Tax and VAT professional with practical experience in income tax, VAT compliance, audit, and corporate taxation. Currently serving as Assistant Supervisor – Tax & VAT at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants (since September 2023), he is actively involved in managing tax assessment processes, attending tax hearings, calculating TDS and VDS, and preparing corporate and individual income tax returns. He also prepares monthly withholding tax returns (WTR) and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with the Income Tax Act and VAT & SD Act of Bangladesh.

He completed the Chartered Accountancy Course (CA-CC) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) from Hossain Mumlook & Co., demonstrating strong technical grounding in audit and assurance. Academically, he holds an MBA and BBA in Accounting from Eastern University, Dhaka.

Firoz possesses sound knowledge of tax planning and advisory services and is skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. He communicates effectively in both English and Bengali.

Badon Jengcham

Md. Badon Jengcham is an Audit, Tax, and VAT professional currently serving as Assistant Supervisor at Hossain Mumlook & Co., Chartered Accountants. He has completed the Certificate Level of Chartered Accountancy under ICAB and is currently at the Professional Level. He also holds an MBA and BBA in Accounting.

He has solid experience in statutory audit support, financial statement preparation, income tax and VAT compliance, and internal control evaluation. He has successfully handled 200+ tax and withholding returns with strong on-time compliance and contributed to audit engagements in line with IFRS and IAS standards.

Previously, he worked as Senior Audit Associate at Hossain Mumlook & Co. and as Internal Auditor at Northern Tosrifa Group, strengthening financial controls and reporting accuracy.

He is known for his analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and professional excellence.

Achya Khatun

Achya Khatun is an experienced HR and Administration professional with over five years of progressive experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and office administration. She is currently serving as Senior HR & Admin Officer at Study Visa Guide, Dhaka, where she plays a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, maintaining attendance and leave systems, preparing monthly payroll sheets, and updating employee records.

In her current role, she is also responsible for updating job descriptions, identifying training needs, coordinating learning and development initiatives, and ensuring smooth administrative operations including office and security management. She prepares official letters, policies, and appointment documents while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with organizational standards.

Previously, she worked as an Admin Officer at CES Academy, where she managed student records, coordinated with teachers and vendors, scheduled classes, and handled office resources efficiently.

Achya holds an MBA in Marketing from Eden Mohila College under the University of Dhaka and a BBA in Marketing from National University. She is also pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGD-HRM) from United International University.

Her core competencies include recruitment and selection, employee relations, HR planning, performance appraisal, office management, and strong communication skills, making her a reliable HR professional committed to fostering a positive and productive workplace.


Abir Hossain Sawrav

Abir Hossain Sawrav is a dynamic Business Development Executive with over four years of experience in BPO, customer experience, telesales, and client relationship management. He has a strong track record of acquiring new clients, preparing business proposals, managing ISO certification documentation, and consistently achieving KPIs in competitive environments.

Currently serving as Executive – Business Development at B-Advancy Certification Limited, Abir is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing CRM databases. He prepares proposals and contracts for ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, while tracking leads and monitoring proposal status to drive revenue growth.

Previously, at ShopFront Limited, he progressed from inbound support to telesales representative, demonstrating adaptability and performance excellence. He managed customer queries, maintained databases, and consistently met sales targets. Earlier, at Genex Infosys Limited, he worked as a Customer Service Officer and Team Captain, leading teams to achieve KPIs and earning “Best Employee” recognition twice for outstanding performance.

Abir is skilled in telesales, CRM systems, data mining, and basic web and graphic design. He thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by continuous learning, adaptability, and delivering measurable business results.
